The idea behind Referral Buddy is simple … We are providing an easy way to refer friends and family members to trusted Vendors. In return, Referrers will receive a referral fee on completed jobs and will help business owners connect with new Customers through referrals. Here are a few questions that you may have:
Is Referral Buddy a dating app?
No, this is not a dating app. Referral Buddy was created for business owners (Vendors), Customers and Referrers to connect. It’s win win! Referrers send a new Customer to a Vendor and if the job is accepted and completed, the Referrer gets a referral fee.
How much will the vendor pay me for my referral and when will they pay?
The referral amount that the Vendor will pay will be determined by the Vendor. Payment will be issued upon completion of the job / task within the app.
Will I receive a 1099 and pay taxes on the referral fees I have received?
Referral Buddy is a peer-to-peer referral app; therefore the Vendor would be responsible for sending a 1099 to Referrers, if applicable.
Can I use Referral Buddy to refer any type of business?
Yes! We encourage all business owners to sign up whether you are in construction, a hairdresser or painter. If you are a Referrer and the business you would like to refer to isn’t signed up, feel free to invite them!
How do I know the business I’m being referred to is reputable? Where can I find their reviews?
Referral Buddy is a peer referral mobile app and does not track business / Vendor reviews and is not responsible for any services requested or rendered through the app. We suggest spending time with the Vendor during the introductory phase of the referral to ensure that the Vendor will meet your individual needs. We also suggest requesting insurance and licensing documentation (where appropriate) as well as reviewing online reviews of the business.
What if I have a dispute with a Vendor or Customer?
All disputes will be resolved between the Vendor and/or Customer through their own means of communication. Referral Buddy will not provide support in the case of a dispute.
What if I am not happy with my referral fee or I do not receive a referral fee?
We would encourage Vendors and Referrers to discuss an expected referral fee at the time of the referral. Referral Buddy will not provide support in the case of a dispute.
Is Referral Buddy Patented?
Referral Buddy does have a Patent Pending.
